1248 Stock Horse Treasure Hunt
Each Item pictured is sold seperately! You never know what you’ll find on the Breyer® Animal Creations® Stock Horse Treasure Hunt. And when your hunt is complete and you have collected all four models, the fun only gets better! Send in all four original UPCs and you will receive a FREE Wedgewood Blue decorator model – the first of its kind on this wildly popular mold! The Lady Phase (#40) mold, sculpted by Christian Hess, has been a collectors’ favorite since it was introduced in 1976. Named for country singer Lynn Anderson’s champion American Quarter Horse, this mold is the epitome of a stock horse. Nimble and sturdy, with an alert and intelligent head, a deep chest and powerful quarters, the stock horse helped settle the West. He was – and still is – a cowboy’s trusty companion, working cattle and performing other chores on the ranch or plain. Stock horses come in different breeds and colors. For instance, your model might be the black Appaloosa. This surefooted, spotted breed was favored by the Nez Perce tribe, the only Native Americans known to have selectively bred their horses. Or it could be the chestnut Quarter Horse, a versatile breed developed for quarter-mile racing but a cutting and roping favorite. Then there’s the palomino Paint Horse, a stock horse standout with a distinctive coat pattern. And last but not least, the fleabitten grey. A Quarter Horse or grade horse – perhaps with mustang blood – he has a striking speckled coat. If you want to fill your stable with all four of these stock horses, you are going to have to hit the collecting trail. Nobody knows where they can all be found but the end result will be more than worth it! Collecting is just one of the many facets of a hobby that includes customizing and model horse showing – join in on the fun! If you’ve ever watched a Western movie or attended a rodeo, you’ve seen stock horses at their best. Now here’s your chance to collect your own set with the Stock Horse Treasure Hunt.
