The more smart tracks and accessories that are added to the track layout, the more features are activated on the pre-programmed engines. Some features of the pre-programmed engines are special sound effects including brakes and the engine's warning horn.The Track Reader Engine(computerized engine) will also slow down at certain track sections, speed up, change sound tones and sound its horn!

Track Reader Engine

The BRIO smart track starter set includes a Track Reader Engine which has a number of pre-programmed sound effects and driving features. The tracks in the set activate the engine's warning horn and brakes.The engine's features and sound effects are powered by 2 x AA 1.5V batteries (included).
