Design is a new line of Multi Model sets with new flexible metal peices. Molecular memory steel allows for more realistic models. Mechanical functions with unique movement in each model. New color coded sets with "champagne" base color. All parts compatible with Multi Model sets. Ages 8+
Special Edition sets are a classic special Multi Model set for the collector or builder. Mechanical functions provide movement in each model. Tools and detailed colored instruction sheets included in each set. Realistic assembling principles. Ages 8+
Speed Play introduces new parts and a new construction system that allows for quicker model building. A new power tool easily screws the parts together and converts to a motor to bring movement to the toy. Components are compatible with the classic Erector parts. Tools and instruction are included in each set. Ages 8+
Erector construction toys have been around since 1913 when A.C. Gilbert introduced his first erector set at the Toy Fair in New York. That very first set consisted of girders, gears and sprockets and built multiple models from one set.
Today the same principles hold true and Erector has improved upon the original design by adding flexible metal pieces to Design sets, newly shaped parts and accessories and even a radio control vehicle that operates by remote.
