LGB 20310 DB Electric Loco
101 024-8 The wish of many LGB fans
for more modern locomotives, like the popular LGB “LCE” train (70600/72600),
has been fulfilled with this replica of the Deutsche Bahn “101” series.
This graceful model includes headlights that switch automatically according
to the direction of travel, so the proper “face” is always lighted. Naturally,
the cab is also illuminated, and the entry doors can be opened. Two Bühler
motors give the model enormous pulling power, and it is equipped with
an “onboard” Multi-Train System decoder for automatic compatibility on
both MTS and analog layouts. Look for matching passenger and freight cars
in the coming years. |

LGB The RhB Bernina line runs
from St. Moritz in Switzerland to Tirano in Italy, crossing the spectacular
Bernina pass on numerous switchbacks. On this mountainous line, railcars
are used not only for passenger service, but also to haul freight trains.
Often you can even observe two railcars doubleheading! The first RhB railcar
from LGB is a detailed replica of the prototype in the livery of the 1980s.
Cabs and interiors feature prototypical detailing and lighting. The model
has two Bühler motors to haul long trains up mountain grades on your layout.

LGB fans, we present the Berninabahn number 34 railcar in its current,
restored yellow livery. The lavish paint and detailing is complemented
by the extensive working features, including twin drive motors and automatic
directional exterior lighting. Of course, it also features detailed cab
and interior furnishings, interior lighting and opening doors. This version
of this model is equipped with a “DCC Decoder Interface.” It can be operated

LGB of America announced that it will proceed with plans to produce its own G-scale trains and accessories. LGBoA also announced that its existing inventories of LGB products are generally very good and that it is working with many long-time LGB suppliers on its production efforts.
Our constant goal is to provide consumers with the quality LGB products they want, said Tony Castellano, President of LGB of America. We purchased a tremendous amount of LGB before production ended at Lehmann. We have already announced our new USRA 0-6-0 loco, and we plan to have fresh inventory before the start of the holiday selling season.
