Model: The locomotive comes with an mfx sound decoder, controlled high-efficiency propulsion, sound generator (diesel motor, bell, horn) and controllable headlights.

Contents: 14 no. 24130 curved track, 8 no. 24188 straight track, 1 no. 24088 feeder track, 9 no. 24172 straight track, 1 pair of 24671 and 24672 curved turnouts. Marklin 120 Volt transformer. This set can be expanded with the C Track extension sets and the entire C Track program. The turnouts can be retrofitted with the 74490 electric turnout mechanism.

This unique set comes with everything you need to get started with Marklin trains. Included are an Era IV/V DHG 700 industrial diesel locomotive with directional headlights and rooftop warning light, a Krupp-Ardelt rail crane with rotating cab and movable boom (includes crank), a crane tender and a low-side gondola with a metal model of an excavator. The train runs on a 73 x 30" 184 x 76cm oval of C Track with a passing siding. The set also includes a Marklin Digital controller for multi-train operation (up to four trains simultaneously) and a power pack.
The set is entirely compatible with the Marklin C Track roadbed-style track system for easy expansion and set up on most surfaces. The locomotive features a special motor with high-efficiency propulsion and all axles are powered for smooth operation. It also comes with a built-in Marklin Digital decoder that allows the acceleration and braking delay to be controlled with a Marklin transformer or with with Märklin Delta or Digital systems. Cars come equipped with Relex couplers for easy uncoupling.
